Setting tooth numbering system

In 3Shape you are able set your default tooth numbering or dental notation system for your lab and your individual clients. This article will show you how to change the default setting, and how to change for select clients.

*Note: Changing the tooth numbering system in settings will not update the system for clients that are already created.  You must change those from the client's profile (Client Profile Management) or by Adjusting client settings.

To change your default lab number system:

Settings > Client > Client Profile Defaults > Tooth numbering system

Choose FDI or UNS and click the blue Save button in the top right-hand corner.  Changes will be updated the next time you log in.

Changing individual client dental notation system:

1) Client > Client Profiles > Client list

2) Use check boxes to select clients

3) Click the Settings button and select "Tooth numbering system"

4) Select new setting and click "Apply"
