Assigning Technician permission to a user

User's with Technician Permissions log into the Technician Portal.  The Technician Portal is focused on what's in production and when it's due.  There is no Case Flow, Billing, Clients, Production, or Reports tab.  You have the flexibility to adjust what permissions each technician has within the portal.

If your technicians assigned as Lab Staff (case flow homepage) can still have cases assigned to them cases as technicians for 1-step and production cases.  Steps proceeded by them will be reflected as such on the Technician Productivity Report.  

 

1) Settings -> Profiles / Logins ->User Profiles -> Edit

2) Click the 1st dropdown menu and select "Technician". You can also adjust your technician's permissions in the 2nd dropdown menu.
