Voiding a case

If you want to delete a case from 3Shape LMS-- void the case (there is no delete in 3Shape LMS).  

Voiding a case is a permanent--you cannot 'un-void" a case.  However, the ca entered for that case will be saved in the "Voided Cases" report in the Report Center.  *Note: If you void a case that has an invoice and do not wish to charge, you must delete the invoice.

1) Search for the case and open the case record

2) Select Actions > Void Case

3) Enter a reason and click "Void"

4) To prevent accidentally voiding a case, you will be asked two times if you'd like to the void case.

5) The case record status shows the case as voided

NOTE: All information for voided cases is saved and can be viewed in Reports > Case Management > Voided Cases
