Adding a Client
21/10/2024We understand the lab is often hectic. 3Shape LMS is designed to let you enter the basic information need to immediately start entering cases and billing your clients. Fill out the rest of the information at you convenience.
You will need:
- Practice (clinic) or Company Name (lab clients)
- Address including city & country
- Telephone number
- For practices/clinics, at least one doctor's first & last name
*Please note, you MUST have at least one Pricebook created to link (assign) to your client
Go to Client > Client Profiles > Create New
1) Enter required information in red
***You CANNOT enter a name AND a Practice/Company Name in the top box. We recommend using the Practice/Company name when possible.
2) Scroll down to enter more information
3) Complete required fields (*) and click "Create"
*Under Shipping, Default Courier is automatically set to "Local." Outbound & Inbound Transit Time is automatically set to 0. Outbound Day = case is delivered on the day it's completed; most labs set Outbound Transit to at least 1 day.
**Inbound Transit Time refers to clients entering their own cases via 3Shape integration or a client portal. THIS FEATURE IS NOT AVAILABLE IN THE BETA VERSION. 0 Inbound Transit Day = manufacturing begins the day the case is ENTERED.
