How to enable VisiQuick integration with 3Shape Unite
07/11/2023Prerequisites for the integration:
- 3Shape Unite 21.1.x or newer.
- VisiQuick v 4.6.8.x or newer.
- Both standalone and client-server setups are supported, see Known Limitations.
3Shape Unite and VisiQuick (PMS) integration provides automation of Patient Management in 3Shape Unite from VisiQuick (Create, merge and update patient) for faster and easier managing of patient data. Read more about VisiQuick here.
How to enable the integration in Unite
Please follow the steps described in the related article: How to install "PMS integration" App from Unite Store
How to enable the integration in VisiQuick
Please consult VisiQuick documentation. The following steps are provided as an aid to set up and use the integration in VisiQuick software.
- In VisiQuick go to Tools > External application settings.
- In new window, select "Special programs" tab and put a check mark on "Enable 3Shape link". Then click "Configure".
- Navigate to "Link type" and choose VDDS, in "VDDS ID" field select 3Shape software.
- Click OK to save changes.
- Open Patient and go to "Tools" tab. Select "3Shape open patient". When click it Patient information will be transferred directly in Unite.
You have now set up the integration.
Known limitations

- Patient updates are only propagated from VisiQuick to 3Shape Unite. Not the other way around.
