Before calibration, make sure that the calibration target is clean and free of scratches on both sides, and that the color squares on the color side are not missing or faded.
TRIOS 4 is equipped with smart scanning tips with the "number (#) of use" counter for an optimal scanning experience. All new tips delivered with your TRIOS 4 system come pre-calibrated and are ready for use after sterilization.
Any new scanner tips bought as spare accessories need to be calibrated before the first use.
Each smart scanning tip can be used for scanning up to 20 times before recalibration will be needed. The tip number and the number of scans taken with it is shown on the Scanner Management page in Unite Settings (More > Settings > TRIOS > Scanner Management).
