What's New in TRIOS & Unite 26.1
09/04/2026We’re excited to introduce the TRIOS & Unite 26.1 software update – designed to help you work efficiently and with even greater clinical confidence.
This software update brings meaningful enhancements across TRIOS Software and Unite. The highlight of 26.1 version is the fully integrated end-to-end all-on-x workflow with Straumann Exact™, now starting directly from the Unite order form. Additionally, you will also experience improved stability and overall reliability of the software.

Select all-on-x workflow in the order form
Now you can start any of the TRIOS all-on-x workflows directly in the order form, in one click.
When ordering a case, select all-on-x in the left-hand menu, then select the jaw, teeth, and their corresponding implants, materials, and shade as shown on the image below.
Once you save your order form and move to the next step, you can select the all-on-x workflow of your choice and continue with scanning to complete the case.
Introducing Straumann Exact™ scanning workflow
The new full-arch TRIOS scanning workflow for Straumann Exact™ offers a guided, step-by-step scanning experience using Straumann Exact™ scan flags. The fully guided workflow combines clear animations and on-screen text guidance to support you in every step, making it easier to navigate scanning steps and scan with confidence from start to finish.
The workflow is. inititated using the all-on-x button in the order form, as described above, and completed scans can be sent to any lab with an UNIQ account for seamless collaboration. As you enter the 360 scan of the temporary prosthesis and edentulous scan step, the trim tool opens automatically to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted experience.

Other improvements
- AI scan has been upgraded with smarter, more precise detection ensuring unwanted surfaces or objects stay out of your final model. Even in challenging cases with significant tissue removal, you will experience cleaner scans with less effort.
- We have added helpful guidance on how to change the WiFi channel, making it easier to improve scanning performance when connectivity is unstable.
- The send-to-patient workflow in Unite Cloud has been enhanced with phone number validation and alerts, when patient is not registered, along with a smoother, more intuitive flow for inviting new patients.
- It is now possible to click hyperlinks in messages within Unite Cloud, allowing you to open them in a new browser tab without needing to copy and paste URLs.
- You will now be warned in Unite Cloud when you try to submit a case without shade information for one or more indications, to help you avoid sending incomplete cases.
- The “Files” tab in Unite Cloud's case view has been updated with filtering options, making it easier for you to find, review, and manage the files related to your case.
- Unite's core platform has been strengthened with .NET 10 migration and modernized security and integration modules. Alongside, software resilience has been improved by fixing start up blocks, sync interrruptions, and update issues - you will experience quicker launches, fewer disruptions, and more reliable daily performance.
Availability
The availability of this software version will start in the beginning of April and we expect global availability by May. You will receive a notification in the software once the update is available to you.
The update is compatible and available with all TRIOS scanner models.
