Mapping/merging existing LabStar users to 3Shape user accounts

This article shows you how to map previous LabStar user profiles to 3Shape user accounts. The mapping should be done after your site is migrated from LabStar to 3Shape LMS.

NOTE: The article below only applies to labs migrated from LabStar to 3Shape LMS. If you have signed up directly through 3Shape, this article does not apply.

1) Invite employees to your 3Shape company: Log into 3Shape account > Companies > Click company name > Invite member

2) Once the user has accepted invite from the confirmation email and has created their 3Shape accounts go to your LMS > Settings > Profiles / Logins > User Profiles > Edit

3) Click the dropdown in the "Map to 3Shape Account" column and select the user that you want to link 

4) Click "Map"

5) OPTIONAL: If there are any staff members with pending invites or have not created a 3Shape account yet  you can select "None" under under the Map to 3Shape Account drop down and click "Map" to connect them later under Inactive users below.
