How to Make an Item Inactive in the Product Catalog

- Navigate to Settings > Product Catalog.
- Locate and select the item you would like to deactivate from the item list.
- In the item details panel, select the three dots in the top-right corner.
- Click Deactivate item.
The item will now move from the Active tab to the Inactive tab within the Product Catalog. Items in the Product Catalog cannot be permanently deleted. This is intentional to preserve historical records tied to previous cases, invoices, and reporting data.
If an item should no longer be available for use, it is recommended to set it to Inactive. Once an item has been made inactive, it will no longer appear as an available option when entering a new case, while still preserving all historical records associated with that item.
