How to check if the port is open with netstat
Step 1: Open Command Prompt by pressing Win + R, type cmd, and press Enter.

Step 2: In the Command Prompt window, type the following command and press Enter: netstat -an | find "PORT" (replace PORT with the port number you want to check).

Step 3: Look for lines that include the port number in the "Local Address" column. If the port is open and listening, it should appear as 0.0.0.0:PORT or ::PORT with the status “LISTENING.”
Step 4: Close Command Prompt. This process helps determine if the port is open and being used by any application on your local machine.
