Linking cases at case entry and from the case record
21/10/2024Linking cases in 3Shape LMS will allow users to immediately see in the cases the the current case is attached to. There are multiple place you link link a case. You can view linked cases by clicking "Linked" on the top of the case records.
You can also link cases from two different clients, o patients with different names. For example, if you have a doctor that works at multiple locations, or has left a practice for another one, you can still link the cases. If the patient's name changes, you can link those cases as well.
Note: Linking cases does not affect billing in any way and is only for easy referencing.
Clients can view linked cases in the case record, but cannot link cases.
1)Case record > Actions > Link case
2)Case search results > Actions gear > Link Case
3)Case entry > Existing patient (under the same client) > View/Link patient cases
4) To view cases once they've been linked, click on the Linked button next to the pan or case reference number at the top of the case record to see a drop-down list off all the linked cases. Clicking on any of the case reference numbers will open that case record.
Note:Linkedcases cannot be viewed from the Production Dashboard or technician logins.
