3Shape is phasing out D & R-series lab scanners. The discontinuation policy from a support perspective means that D & R-series lab scanners cannot be replaced to neither new nor refurbished D & R-series lab scanners anymore, but we keep supporting and repairing D & R-series until the "end of repair" date. (see the respective table below)
Will the end-of-support scanners stop working?   Â
No. The end-of-support scanners will continue to work. However, they won’t be repaired/ replaced if failing and won’t receive any software upgrades. If an end-of-support scanner is updated to non-supported software the scanner will not work, contact 3Shape Customer Support.
Repair
D & R-series lab scanners can be repaired until the last repair date or a trade-up to E-lab series can be offered.Â

Spare Items
Spare items for D & R-series lab scanners will be available until the last repair date.Â
