How to Re-enable Invisalign Integration

22/11/2024

Introduction.

Invisalign is transitioning its users to a new identity platform on April 14th, 2025. As a result of this, if you are a 3Shape user with an active integration with Invisalign, you must re-enable your integration between April 14th, 2025, and May 12th, 2025, to ensure uninterrupted service (if you do not re-enable your integration before May 12th, all cases sent to Invisalign after this date will not be received )

How to Re-enable Invisalign integration.

This is a step-by-step guide for re-enabling your Invisalign integration. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to https://portal.3shapecommunicate.com/login and enter with your 3shape Account credentials:
  2. Go to the Integrations tab and locate Invisalign Integration which is the last option.

3. Find the option “Re-enable integration” right next to it, press it; enter the Invisalign credentials and the integration will be restored.

Key Consideration

To ensure a smooth and uninterrupted submission process to Invisalign, you must re-enable your integration between April 14th and May 12th, 2025. This process cannot be completed before this timeframe.

If the integration is not re-enabled by May 12th, Invisalign will stop receiving your cases until your integration is re-enabled.

Suppose you complete the re-enabling process of your Invisalign integration after May 12th. In that case, you will also need to resend any cases submitted after this date so that Invisalign can process them.

Additionally, if your integration remains unrepaired or not re-enabled by May 13th, 3Shape will send you an email notification informing you of the issue. This email will include details about the failed case delivery and instructions on how to complete the re-enabling process.

To avoid disruptions and extra steps, we strongly recommend completing this process within the required April 14th – May 12th  window.
