How to install 3Shape Unite
09/11/20233Shape Unite is a platform software required to install different 3Shape Apps like TRIOS scanning, Dx, Implant Studio etc, based on the licenses in your subscription and your country location.
Where to get the Unite installer file?
- For completely new installations, these are the ways to get the installer:
1) Log in to Unite Cloud website https://unite.3shape.com/download using your 3Shape Account and download the installer on your device. This will only download a cloud-based Unite III installer, so if you still work with a dongle or can't use cloud-base versions - refer to one of the next options.
2) Ask your reseller to download it from 3Shape Partner Portal, or contact 3Shape Support.
3) For systems shipped before 2024, there is a USB drive with Unite installer in the TRIOS box.
- If you already have Unite installed on one of your devices, these are the ways to get the installer:
1) Open Unite, press (?) button in the top right corner and press “Use Unite on other devices” to save the installer .exe file to a USB drive or another location of you choice. This feature will be available in one of the Unite 26.1 releases later in the summer 2026.
2) For previous Unite versions, you can simply open Windows Explorer, go to C:\ProgramData\3Shape\DentalDesktop\ServerPackages and copy the installer .exe file to a USB drive or another location of you choice.
