This article explains how Dx data is synchronized to the cloud and shared across devices, while also being backed up locally on the designated server device, using Unite’s new features. Understanding this ensures seamless access to Dx cases and secure data handling across your practice.
Prerequisites
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions and enabled cloud storage synchronization
Recommended 10TB of cloud storage within TRIOS Care subscription for efficient data storage in the cloud
Optional: PDF report generation or use of Unite Whiteboard for viewing Dx results in Unite Cloud
Data Synchronization and Backup Logic
Dx data is instantly synchronized to cloud storage. It means that data is immediately available across all Unite systems within the same company that has TRIOS Dx installed, and the Dx PDF report is available through Unite Cloud web and mobile apps as well. This means:
A scan taken on one Unite device can be reviewed on any other device with Unite, Unite Cloud web or mobile apps
Dx results can be sent to the DentalHealth App from any Unite device
Dx results can be available through PDF report and accessible via Unite or Unite Cloud
This unified synchronization mirrors the behavior of other Unite-based products, ensuring that Dx data is always up-to-date, securely stored, and available wherever and whenever you need it.
Unite Backup Feature
In addition to cloud storage benefits, Unite offers a backup feature which helps create a copy of all your data including Dx.
This ensures your patient data is not inly synchronized to the cloud but also stored locally within your practice.
It complements cloud storage by adding an extra layer of data availability and security.
