How to export scans when AI proposal is present in DS 24

Starting from Dental System version 2.24.1.1, 3Shape has introduced Automate AI design proposals. For eligible cases, a design proposal will be generated automatically. These proposals are powered by 3Shape Automate’s proven AI technology, which boasts a 94% acceptance rate and over 3 million accepted and downloaded designs.

Please note: It is expected behavior that the case will be temporarily blocked while the AI proposal is being generated.

To continue working and export the scans, the user must either accept or reject the proposal.

How to disable AI proposals

If a client does not wish to receive AI proposals (for example, if they are only using the TRIOS Inbox), this feature can be disabled in the Dental System Control Panel (DSCP):

Open DSCP

Navigate to:
3rd Party Applications > 3Shape Automate Extension

Uncheck: Automatic upload of AI eligible cases

Once disabled, new cases will not receive AI proposals, and scans can be exported without any interruptions.
