How to enable STOMIS integration with 3Shape Unite

Prerequisites for the integration:

• 3Shape Unite 21.1.x or newer. 
• STOMIS integration 3.5.x.x or newer
• 3Shape Unite client STOMIS should be installed on the same computer.  
• Both standalone and client-server setups are supported, see Known Limitations.

3Shape Unite and STOMIS (PMS) integration provides automation of Patient Management in 3Shape Unite from STOMIS (Create, merge and update patient) for faster and easier managing of patient data.  Read more about STOMIS here.

How to enable the integration in Unite

How to enable the integration in STOMIS

Please contact STOMIS prior to the installation itself. The following steps are provided as an aid to use the integration in STOMIS software.

1. Run STOMIS software, insert patient data and click 3Shape button on the top:
   
2. Press the “3Shape” button to send a request to the 3Shape Unite.
3. If action proceed successfully – 3Shape Unite window will open on a patient’s profile, and you may select which workflow to start with.

Known limitations:

• Patient updates are only propagated from STOMIS to 3Shape Unite. Not the other way around.
