How to change the patient folder label of Ortho Data
07/11/2023Customizing Folder Labels in Ortho Data
Customizing the folder labels for the patients in ortho data can be done by customizing it on the Ortho Control Panel.
Please keep in mind that the customization will only apply to new cases after the changes have been performed on the control panel, not to the existing cases.
In order to customize the label generation please follow the next steps:
- Open Ortho Control Panel
- Go to system settings
- Scroll down to where it says define template for Patient ID generation
- Proceed to fill in the Patient-ID template fields according to the preference

This can also be modified for the model sets and appliance designer. To have the exact same one for all of them, it needs to be manually configured.
Please remember that in ortho control panel the changes selected must be saved in order for them to start been reflected.
