How to test internet connection in 3Shape Unite

To check the quality of your internet connection in Unite:

Step 1: Open Unite and go to the More tab and select Settings in the drop down menu.

Step 2: Expand the General section and select Network diagnostics. The internet connection and network connections will automatically begin checking. 

Step 3: Under the Internet connection section check for:

• FTP Upload and Download speed: should be above 5000 Kb/Sec (as required in the Catalog PC).
• HTTP and HTTPS Connections Status: Both should be successful (green checkmark), otherwise you may not have access to 3Shape servers.

For more detailed information on adapter configuration expand the Adapter and IP Data section.

In the Wi-Fi detailed information section check the following:

1. Profile (name of the network)
2. Signal (signal strength)
3. Receive and Transmit rate (Mbps) (network capacity; the maximum speed possible within a selected network).

Step 4: The effective internet download and upload speed can be checked at www.speedtest.net.
If the effective speed of the internet is lower than 5Mbps or is unstable, refer to our Catalog PC where you can find the minimum requirement for the systems.
