90 days warranty grace period for TRIOS Only upgrading back to TRIOS Care 

A TRIOS customer that upgrades from TRIOS Only to TRIOS Care is not covered by the warranty policy during their first 90 days on TRIOS Care. Other TRIOS Care benefits (e.g., support coverage, exclusive trainings, and discounts) are available from the moment of upgrading.

Why does 3Shape have a 90-days grace period? 

We want to safeguard the TRIOS Care customers that are subscribing in good faith and ensure that customers do not only purchase TRIOS Care when their TRIOS System (scanner or Move+) is broken. However, customers can still get their scanner repaired / replaced within the first 90 days by paying the out-of-warranty fee.

Do I need to pay for all the years that I have been on TRIOS Only when upgrading to TRIOS Care and having a warranty case? 

No, you do not pay retrospectively for past years on TRIOS Only. 

Additional years of TRIOS Care 

In certain regions, 3Shape provides the possibility for customers to purchase an additional 2 and additional 4 years of TRIOS Care either at a new sale or upon the next renewal. For more information regarding availability and pricing, please contact your reseller or 3Shape representative.

It is possible to purchase 1 additional or 3 additional years?

3Shape does not offer these possibilities due to simplicity reasons. Instead, you can potentially purchase 2 or 4 additional years - please contact your reseller or 3Shape representative for more information.

How can I purchase additional years of TRIOS Care upon renewal? 

Please, contact either your reseller or 3Shape support (if your license is handled directly). The purchase needs to be placed at the latest 14 days before the next renewal to guarantee that the order is processed by 3Shape in time.
