How to create separate margin lines for coping and crown on the same tooth in Dental Designer

Currently, Dental Designer does not support creating different margin lines for a coping and crown on the same tooth within a single order.

This limitation can present challenges for users who need to design a coping on a half-die and a crown down to the margin line on the same tooth. 

Below is an explanation of the issue and a workaround:

The Issue

When designing a coping and crown on the same tooth in a single order, the margin line is shared between both, which may not be ideal.
 

Workaround

1. Create a new order for the coping only;

2. Design and produce the coping;

3. Install it in the patient's mouth.

4. Re-scan and create a new order for the crown;

5. Proceed with designing the crown.
