How to test internet connection in 3Shape Unite

Steps to check the internet connection 

In Unite there is built in possibility to check the quality of the internet connection.

1. Open Unite and go to More -> Settings -> General -> Network diagnostics -> Internet connection and press "Test"
2. You will be prompted to the general test results: The points which you need to check are:
   • FTP Upload and Download speed -> It should be above 5000 Kb/Sec (as required in our Catalog PC).
   • HTTP and HTTPS Connections Status -> Both should be successful, otherwise it means that the customer might not have access to 3Shape servers.
3. In order to have more detailed information on adapter configuration you may expand 'Adapter and IP Data' section:
4. In order to get more detailed information on Wi-Fi connection, you can expand 'Wi-Fi Detailed Information' section:

In this section you need to check the following:

1. Profile - name of the network.
2. Signal - signal strength.
3. Receive and Transmit rate (Mbps) that is the capacity of the network (the maximum speed possible within a selected network).
4. The effective internet download and upload speed, that can be checked at www.speedtest.net.

The effective internet upload and download speed may be tested using free tools available on the internet, e.g. 

NOTE: If the effective speed of the internet is lower than 5Mbps or is unstable, please refer to our Catalog PC. There it's stated that refers to a minimum requirement for the systems.

Alternatively, another internet connection with higher speed might be used.
