Case‑Based Messaging in 3Shape LMS

You can access case‑based messaging in two simple ways:
1. From the Case Record
- Open the Case Record on a TRIOS case

- Select “Go to messages”

- This opens the dedicated messaging view for that case, where you can chat, share clarifications, and add images.

2. From the Messages Section
- Go to Messages from the case flow page

- Select the conversation linked to the specific case

- From here, you can manage conversations across multiple cases. You can also open the Case Record directly from a message thread.

Current Availability
Case‑based messaging is currently available only for:
- TRIOS cases accepted and created through the Review Form in the Case Inbox


These cases support full case‑level messaging with context tied directly to the case.
Not Yet Supported
Case‑based messaging is not yet available for:
- Cases created manually in the Case Entry

- 3rd‑party IOS cases from the Case Inbox

Future Support
We are working on expanding case‑based messaging to more workflows. Support for Case Entry cases and 3rd‑party IOS cases will be added in future updates.
