Prerequisites for the integration:
- 3Shape Unite 21.1.x or newer.
- Dentinnov X-Ray Bridge extension
- 3Shape Unite client should be installed on the same computer.
- Both standalone and client-server setups are supported.
3Shape Unite and Dentinnov (PMS) integration provides automation of Patient Management in 3Shape Unite from Dentinnov (Create, merge, and update patient) for faster and easier managing of patient data. Read more about Dentinnov here.
How to enable the integration in Unite

How to enable the integration in Dentinnov
The following steps are provided as an aid to set up and use the integration in Dentinnov software.
Before you start, please make sure you meet the following prerequisites:
- Ensure you are using the Chrome browser to access Dentinnov.
- Install the Dentinnov X-Ray Bridge extension by following the procedure outlined in this link: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/dentinnov-x-ray-bridge/glemmhdbapcgoheamkliggmeccmknbma
To connect to 3Shape Unite from Dentinnov, follow these steps:
- Click on the "Bridge Settings" option.
- From the vendor list, select "3Shape (Unite)" and then click "Save"
- Click on the "Bridge" button to open 3Shape Unite with the patient currently selected.
You have now set up the integration:
Known limitations:
- Patient updates are only propagated from Dentinnov to 3Shape Unite. Not the other way around.
