Resolving "Unable to import the order. Unsupported material file version" When Importing an Order into Dental Manager

When importing an order into Dental Manager, the following error message may appear:

"Unable to import the order [order file location]. Unsupported material file version: [Dental System version]"

Cause

This issue occurs when the order was created in a newer version of Dental System than the version currently installed.

The same error can occur when importing a designed order that was created in a newer Dental System version but designed using an older Dental Designer module.

Orders can only be imported into the same or a newer version of Dental System. Orders created in a newer version cannot be imported into an older version because the material file version is not supported.

Resolution

If the order was created in a newer version of Dental System, upgrade your installation to the same or a newer version before importing the order.
