Introduction to the TRIOS Ready Tip

The TRIOS Ready Tip is a single-use scanner tip intended to be used together with TRIOS 5 & TRIOS 6 in a non-sterile workflow to capture digital topographical 3-D images of teeth, including bite, gingivae and palate directly from the patient’s mouth or models of the teeth. It is a ready-to-use tip which does not require any prior preparation as long as your software is up to date.
The TRIOS Ready Tip is always ready and therefore streamlines the workflow, giving dentists more time with patients and less time on preparation with the consistent TRIOS 5 & TRIOS 6 high scan quality. Hygienic by design in a single-use pouch, the TRIOS Ready Tip minimizes the risk of patient cross-contamination.
The TRIOS Ready Tip is compatible with TRIOS 5 & TRIOS 6.
There are 25 tips in individual pouches in the box.
Before using the TRIOS Ready Tip, always remember to update your UNITE software to the latest version.
Available in EU from June 6th, 2024. Gradually it will become available worldwide.
Instructions for use
Step 1: Put on gloves, take the tip and open the pouch by tearing the top part of the pouch along the special tear line
Step 2: Take the scanner and put the tip on the mirror housing without removing the tip from the opened pouch
TRIOS Ready Tips are non-sterile.
TRIOS Ready Tips must not be re-used. They must only be used once and then disposed of as clinical waste.
