How to enable LOGOS_w integration with Dental Desktop

Prerequisites for the integration:

• Dental Desktop 1.7.19.x or newer. 
• Logos_w v11.00x or newer. 
• Logos_w client and Dental Desktop client must be installed on the same computer.

3Shape TRIOS on Dental Desktop and Logos_w (PMS) integration provides automation of Patient Management in Dental Desktop from Logos_w (Create, merge and update patient) and allows you to open TRIOS directly from the patient chart in Logos_w for faster and easier scanning.  Read more about LOGOS_w here.

How to enable the integration in Unite

Logos_w uses Web Service interface, so it’s automatically enabled in Dental Desktop.

How to enable the integration in LOGOS_w

To enable the integration in Logos_w, please consult Logos_w documentation. The following steps are provided as an aid to set up the integration in Logos_w software.

1. In Logos_w, navigate to the Outils tab and press Configuration du post.
   
2. Select Trios 3Shape in the drop-down menu.
   
3. Make sure that the correct IP address is entered for the PC where the Dental Desktop server is installed.
   
4. Select a patient and click the 3Shape button.
   
5. The first time, you may be asked for the username and the password in order to authenticate to the TRIOS web service. This is the username as set in Dental Desktop.
