Installing ScanIt Dental in 3Shape Unite after updating or installing Dental System 2023

Step 1: Starting with Dental System 2023, the Scanit Dental module has been moved to the 3Shape Unite platform. To use this module, you must complete a simple configuration procedure. Begin by opening Unite and making sure it is updated with the Scanit Dental Module installed. 

Step 2: After installing Dental System, you will receive a prompt to open Unite and download the necessary modules. After closing the prompt, Unite will start automatically. 
If you already have Unite installed on your system wait for any updates and modules to install, Unite may restart during this process.
Required modules will be downloaded automatically but it is also recommended to go and check for updates following these steps:

1. Open Unite and click More tab, and then in the drop down menu select Store.
   
2. In the Unite Store, click on App Updates and then select Check for Updates.
3. Next, click on Install all Updates. Unite will automatically find and install all available modules.
   
4. After updating Unite, you may need to review your company data following the on-screen instructions and create a PIN code for Unite access on your current device.
     

Step 3: If you do not have Unite installed, it will be downloaded during the Dental System installation. After Dental System is installed Unite will start automatically, follow the steps in the Setup wizard.

Step 4: After the setup is complete, revert to steps A-D under step 2 above to make sure the latest Unite version is installed. Once the installation is complete, you can close Unite and proceed with scanning in Dental System.
