Resolving "Program Version Not Enabled in Dongle, Please Downgrade" When Opening Dental System

If the installed Dental System version is not permitted by the connected dongle, the software will not start and the following error message will appear:

Error message: "Program version not enabled in dongle, please downgrade."

Possible root cause: The installed Dental System version is newer than the maximum version permitted by the connected dongle. A version limitation is enabled on the dongle.

Resolution

Step 1: Verify that you are using the correct dongle for your installation.

Step 2: If the correct dongle is connected, contact sales@3shape.com and request removal of the version limitation from the dongle.
