Unite software stuck/ delayed on "Setting up 3Shape Unite - connecting to server" step, during new installations on version 1.8.14.2

Customers are reporting a considerable delay during the “Setting up 3Shape Unite – connecting to server” step when installing Unite 1.8.14.2 – version 25.2.1 (product configuration 4.7.2.0).

Some systems also display the unexpected error “An issue occurred, BadRequestException.”
Despite the delay, all affected systems eventually gain normal access to Unite and its data after several hours.
Environment:
- Production
Multi‑device:
- Yes
Preconditions:
- New device undergoing a fresh installation of Unite 1.8.14.2
- The practice’s main PC is already updated to Unite 1.8.14.2
Steps to Reproduce:
- Install Unite 1.8.14.2 on a new device.
- Log in using standard company credentials within the same practice.
- Observe the installation process.
Observed Result:
- Significant delay during the “Setting up 3Shape Unite – connecting to server” step.
- Recent reports show this step may take 6+ hours.
- Some units intermittently show the error: “An issue occurred, BadRequestException.”
Expected Result:
The installation should complete in a normal/expected timeframe.
Unite should become accessible on new devices without extended delays.
Log Findings:
No critical errors were observed in the reviewed cases.
However, the following warning appears frequently and consistently in both exception and server exception logs:

This issue is considered a BUG and is currently under investigation.
