Unite is not able to install updates. The update process is stuck at XX%

Description of the issue

When we are in the middle of an update process, it might be stuck at some point and not allowing the system to finish it, therefore, here we can find some of the possible root causes for this.

Reasons of the issue

During the process, there was a local limitation on your network that did not allow us to finish the update, therefore these are the possible workaround that we can try to finalize: 

  1. Temporally disable the firewalls if you or your reseller agree with this.
  2. Please check with your IT department if your network is set up for Dental Desktop/3shape UNITE on our: Dental Desktop Network Connections.
  3. Try connecting via a more stable connection type (Ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi).
  4. Try connecting via a mobile hotspot.

If nothing above helps, please follow the next steps:

  1. Close 3shape UNITE.
  2. Restart your PC and log in again on the software, (it will start from 0% but quickly proceed to the previous value).
