'Cannot upload file to remote site xxxxx' Error message when trying to send an order through FTP from lab to lab

Error with sending orders

When trying to send an order from one lab's dental manager to another using FTP, sometimes the error "Unable to upload file to remote site xxxx" will show up.

Solution

1. Open Dental System Control Panel.
2. Look for the external lab/manufacturer which is giving the error.
3. Disable the 3Shape communicate integration for the external lab/manufacturer and save changes.

After following the steps above, the order should be sent without any problem through FTP. In case that the above steps do not solve the issue, perform a test connection for the external lab/manufacturer FTP in DSCP and make sure that port 21 is open.
