Secondary 3Shape Communicate account in Dental System

Dental System 2021 introduced the ability to register multiple 3Shape Communicate accounts and connect them to the same Dental Manager Inbox. This allows laboratories to exchange orders using different TRIOS order templates (for example, for customers from different regions) with different materials and indications.

Configuring Secondary 3Shape Communicate Accounts

Follow the steps below to add an additional 3Shape Communicate account.

Step 1: Open "Dental System Control Panel".

Step 2: Go to "Tools".

Step 3: Select "3Shape Communicate".

Step 4: Click "Configure 3Shape Communicate".

Step 5: Under Secondary accounts, click "Add account".

Step 6: In the "Secondary account" dialog, enter the account credentials.

Step 7: Click "OK" to save the account.

After the account is added, it will be connected to the same Dental Manager Inbox, allowing orders from multiple 3Shape Communicate accounts to be received in one location.

Important Considerations

• Orders from both the primary and all configured secondary accounts can be received in the "3Shape Communicate Inbox" in Dental Manager.
• Orders can only be sent from the primary 3Shape Communicate account.
• Configuring the same 3Shape Communicate account (and the same 3Shape Communicate Inbox folder) on multiple Dental System installations is not supported.
• The same limitation applies to secondary 3Shape Communicate accounts.
