Hollowing models in Model Builder

Model Builder includes an option to create hollow models. This is typically used to reduce material consumption during manufacturing.

Configuring Model Hollowing

Step 1: Open Model Builder.

Step 2: Select "File".

Step 3: Select "Virtual Trimming Preferences".

Step 4: Expand "Model Manufacture".

Step 5: Expand "Hollowing".

Step 6: Adjust the "Surface Thickness" value as required.
