Scan post-process step blocked out with EM "Complete the following scans before continuing to the Analyze page" using TS 1.18.9.2

General Description

WRN message appears: "Complete the following scans before continuing to the Analyze page" on Unite 1.8.13.3 when importing streams using TRIOS Scanning Module 1.18.9.2.

This blocks the next step (Analyze) required for post-processing and sending the case to a lab.

Although the Send button is enabled, attempting to send the case results in the following error message: “An issue occurred, the case does not have any scans that are ready to send.”

Environment

  • Multi-device / Production

Preconditions

  • Recently updated to the latest TRIOS 1.18.9.2 and Unite 1.8.13.3 module versions.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a new case using Restorations and enable Pre-preparation, Emergence Profile, or both.
  2. Import streams using Support Mode.
  3. Pre-preparation scan, antagonist scan, and bite scan import successfully.
  4. When importing the regular surface scan (upper scan or lower s
    can), the Analyze page step becomes greyed out, blocking the workflow.
  5. Warning message appears:"Complete the following scans before continuing to the Analyze page."
  6. Despite the Send button being enabled, sending the case triggers the error message:"An issue occurred, the case does not have any scans that are ready to send." when trying to send the case, the  scan can not be post-processed. **

Workaround! 

Export DCM files using support mode and importing those on a new case, the case should be able to be sent but unfortunately, to do perform any changes on the surface scans.
