PIC cloud and 3Shape Unite integration guide

This guide explains how to pair the 3Shape TRIOS intraoral scanner with the PIC Cloud and how to submit cases using the integrated workflow.

Install the PIC Cloud App in 3Shape Unite

Open 3Shape Unite on your TRIOS workstation.
Go to More> Store.
Search for “PIC Cloud” in the Labs section.
Click Connect.

5. New pop-up window will appear, click “Setup” and you will be redirected to PIC cloud site.

6. Your PIC Cloud is now activated inside Unite.

Connect Your PIC Cloud Account

PIC Cloud portal will be opened in your browser. Log in with your PIC Cloud account.

2. Once log in, you will be redirected to Integrations section. Click “Connect to 3Shape” button.

3. Sign into your 3Shape Communicate account and authorize the connection.

4. Your PIC Cloud will now be linked to 3Shape Unite. You'll see “Connected” status. You can disconnect your 3Shape account at any moment by clicking on the button “Disconnect from 3Shape”.

Create and send a case to PIC Cloud

Go to the Patients tab.
Create a new patient or select an existing one.
Once the patient is created, a new window appears.
Under the Scan & Send menu, select preferred Lab.
Fill out the Order Form (restoration/type of work).
Proceed with TRIOS scanning for the Lower, Upper jaws and a Bite scan.
Choose delivery date and click “Send” button.

The scans are now available in PIC Cloud for processing together with your PIC file.

Link 3Shape case in PIC Cloud

Log into PIC Cloud portal
Select the case you want to link to your 3Shape account from the "PIC cases" menu in your PIC cloud account.
The case page in PIC cloud will open. Click on the button "View 3Shape Cases" in the 3Shape "Integration" module.
A list with your 3Shape cases will be displayed. Select the corresponding patient case you want to link and click on the "Associate Case" button. You can find it by searching for the patient’s name or by the case creation date.
Your 3Shape and PIC cloud cases will be linked now, and the "Download files" button will appear in your case page in PIC cloud.
Your full digital implant case is now ready for design and production.
