License not detected for module: 3shape ScanIt Dental or Splint Studio in Dental System 2023 or higher

This issue is usually related to a failure to launch integrated mode apps (software modules which are housed in 3Shape Unite, but can be launched from Dental System, such as Lab scanner or Splint studio).

When launching the integrated mode app, the warning: “License not detected. No license registered for the program you are trying to launch. Please contact support to resolve the issue.” will appear, indicating the affected module.

The warning can be a bit misleading, since the message does not necessarily mean the license is missing - it may appear if the required software module is not installed, or it's not responsive.

Steps to troubleshoot:

1. Please ensure that 3Shape unite is installed and up to date, using the steps in the article How to install ScanIt Dental in 3Shape Unite after Dental System 2023 installation/update as a reference.

Once Unite is up to date and has the respective modules installed, you can restart Dental System and try launching the module once more to confirm if the issue is resolved. 

2. Should the issue persist after the above troubleshooting, further steps related to firewall configuration and folder permissions can be performed to ensure there are no restrictions affecting the system's ability to launch the integrated mode modules.
